Step-wise method of preparation and cooking: For dumplings:
First, knead the dough, then prepare the filling. Roll the dough into a thin layer, cut it into small pieces, and form dumplings with the filling. Steam them for 50 minutes.
For the dumpling soup:
Sauté the onion and carrot in sunflower oil, then add the tomato paste and cook for another 30-40 minutes. Pour the finished soup over the cooked dumplings and serve with herbs and sour cream.
For stuffed peppers and cabbage rolls:
For the filling, finely chop the meat, onion, and tomato, add washed rice, and then season with salt, pepper, and other spices to taste. Fill the cleaned bell peppers with the prepared filling. For the cabbage rolls, first, blanch the cabbage leaves in boiling water for 3-4 minutes to soften them, then wrap the filling in the cabbage leaves.
Steam the stuffed peppers and cabbage rolls over medium heat for 50 minutes. Serve them with herbs and sour cream if desired.

Let’s start by preparing the dough for the dumplings. It should be soft and elastic. Next, we peel the vegetables: onion, carrot, bell pepper, and cabbage. We chop the onion, carrot, tomatoes, and meat into small cubes. We boil the cabbage leaves for 4-5 minutes to make them soft and easy to wrap.
Now, let’s move on to the filling for the stuffed peppers and cabbage rolls. We mix the chopped meat and vegetables, add washed rice, salt, ground pepper, and other spices to taste. We fill the bell peppers and cabbage leaves with the prepared filling, then steam them for 45-50 minutes.
Next, we roll out the dough for the dumplings into a thin layer and form the dumplings with the filling. The dumplings will also be steamed so they cook together with the stuffed peppers and cabbage rolls.
For the soup to accompany the dumplings, we sauté finely chopped onions and carrots, then add tomato paste and pour in water. We add salt to taste and cook for 30-40 minutes for all the flavors to meld together.
When everything is ready, we pour the soup over the cooked dumplings and serve with herbs and sour cream. We take out the stuffed peppers and cabbage rolls, garnish them with herbs, and serve them on the table.
